korean lash lifts
How a lash lift is done can understandably be confusing to clients due to the terminology used in its marketing eg. Keratin Lash Lift, Vitamin Lash Lift, Biotin Lash Lift, Lash Botox, even KOREAN lash lift. 🤷🏼♀️
But ultimately, a lash lift is a cold perming method (non-heat-based technique), or a chemical treatment, that alters the structure of the natural lashes to give them a lifted, curled appearance. ✅
The industry tends to change the name sometimes due to the treatments included with that particular lash lift service OR the technique in the way in which it's achieved. So, as the ‘Korean Lash Lift’ grows in popularity and makes its way into the beauty mainstream — I figured it’s time to answer the most common FAQs on this treatment…

🤔 What actually is a Korean Lash Lift?
A Korean Lash Lift is an innovative, glueless lash lift technique that’s designed to be safer, faster, and healthier for the natural lashes. Instead of relying on adhesives, we use advanced wrapping methods and cysteamine-based solutions to lift lashes flawlessly without damage.
This lash lift technique has gained popularity in recent years, especially in Asia. However this trend is now being used in places such as the UK, Europe, America and all over the world.
💧 Why is it also called glueless?
The traditional way of gluing lashes onto the shield is now outdated. We can now use a powder to mix and create adhesive with the first solution (step 1). The powder is a revolutionary product that originated in Korea and has now made lash lifts an absolute breeze to do!

🔁 How often should I get it done/How long does it last?
ANY lash lift service lasts around 6–8 weeks depending on your lash growth cycle. Sometimes I've seen as long as 12 weeks! Just make sure you're not booking in your lifts earlier than 6 weeks to prevent them from drying out too much (especially those who like to have them constantly - like meeee! 🙋🏼♀️)
🤷🏼♀️ How is a Korean/Glueless method different from a traditional lash lift?
Remember - the difference is theTECHNIQUE. But also, the active ingredient that is used with this method -Cysteamine.This enables me to cover the whole lash (all the way to the tips) with this product, giving a more immaculate, cleaner look. The image here demonstrates this on my client 😍…
